The investigations of the work cover the analysis of the existing haulage system and the relevant data recordings, which represent the main basis for the optimization. An analysis of the existing electronic data processing data, wheel loader data, payloadmeter data and truck data was performed. The total haulage system was digitized and with them a detailed calculation of the haulage roads and haulage costs of each bench, truck and loader was made. Finally improvements by introducing an intermediate ore stockpile was discussed, aiming towards a reduction of the interaction between the haulage of the open pit and the plant.
