Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

The aim of this thesis was the creation of a conceptual approach to redesign the internal scheduling and replenishment process for semi-finished products between associated enterprises of the Plansee Group. The goal was to establish a process which leads to higher performance, concerning execution efficiency and transparency of the internal replenishment to build up increased value compared to the current implementation. On the basis of a formulated problem, research questions were developed which highlight the focus of this thesis. To meet the scientific requirements, a detailed process analysis was performed. By comparing theoretical facts with knowledge gained from the current investigation process, deficiencies in the area of management parameters, the informational transmission between process owners could be measured. The derived target projection, in conjunction with three investigated process alternatives, presented a possible approach for the implementation of a collaborative supply chain. These alternative approaches have been studied and evaluated, concerning implementation and usage criterias.
