Ermittlung des Systemverhaltens von Tübbingverbindungen mittels Shearcone Dübeln bei unterschiedlichen Bewehrungslayouts

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

The Austrian Federal Railway (ÖBB Infrastruktur AG) commissioned the Chair of Subsurface Engineering to carry out shear-tests on reinforced concrete blocks with SOF-SHEAR Bicone 375M Dowel connection elements. The influence of the concrete reinforcement on the sustainability of Tubbing-segments should be checked with load applied on the above-mentioned type of shear-dowel. As an introduction the current support methods in tunnelling will be discussed. This thesis is specifically focusing on the tubbing-support in mechanized tunnelling and subsequently, to the establishment of cross-cuts by this method. Furthermore, additional testing and the necessary tools and measuring equipment are described. For the shear-dowels experiment, a specially constructed test-bed was installed at the Clamping Field of the Chair of Materials Science and Testing of Polymers, Montanuniversitaet Leoben. The attempts were undertaken in two steps and the resulting process and analyses are described in the main part of the master thesis. The conclusion of the master thesis focuses on interpretation and conclusion of the tests.
