Management systems have a special significance in the management of enterprises. They provide a formal framework structure for the control of companies with respect to a particular topic such as environmental management, quality management etc. The goal of this work was the implementation of an ISO 9001:2000 compliant quality management system in the Neudoerfler Office Systems Ltd. For this purpose in theoretical part, the foundations of management and management system were considered. Special attention was naturally on quality management and quality management systems. This deals with a separate chapter of ISO 9001:2000. Following the establishment of the theoretical foundations the focus of the practical part of the paper had its focus on the application of the theoretical foundations for the introduction of the management system at the NOS Ltd. The procedure started with the creation of the process model, on which the whole System was created. Other key tasks were the creation of the process instructions, descriptions of the functions and the documenting procedures. After completion of the documentation was the final step an internal audit.
