The topic of this thesis is the transport of tailings at the Styrian Erzberg. Currently one heavy goods vehicle supports the tailings to a field, which is about 3.5 km away from the loading point. The aim of this thesis is to describe the possible variants of the conveying system and analyse their advantages and disadvantages. Besides, the main attention lay on the technical and economic consideration of these conveying systems and on this base a suitable transport facilities is selected.
