The master's thesis is devoted to the solution of the problem of the possibility of using the waste of 5 hazard classes to increase soil productivity. Waste of paper, newspapers, boxes, paper bags, and foliage are used as promising components of the reclamation mixture. The work examines in detail the problem of the redevelopment of residential areas and the creation of landscaping objects in the urban environment. The problem of a shortage of green spaces with a low quality of environmental amenities is highlighted. The level of knowledge of the problem of using biodegradable waste for reclamation purposes is analyzed in detail based on the works of Russian and foreign scientists. The existing examples of useful waste disposal are described in detail. The experimental section contains the results of a laboratory experiment to create samples of biomat from a mixture of waste from a mixture of different types of waste that are generated in large quantities in urban areas and substantiate the prospects of its use in real conditions.
