Abstract
The legislator has two decrees in work at the moment, one is the compost decree and the other is the decree about “Waste to soil” . Under the circumstances that you stay between certain quality limits it is possible to produce a product from special kinds of waste. The production is only convenient if there is a demand and a market for it. In Austria there are no facts about this theme available at the moment.
The investigation includes a description of the existing legal framework and should
also deal with possible changes in the future. Another aspect covers the demand and the amounts of the material at the moment and at least the ecological and economic aspect of usage in the future.
