N2 - “Sandvik Mining and Construction’s vision is to be perceived by our customers as the Solution Partner of choice in their efforts to constantly improve and exceed their productivity and performance targets” The objective of this Project is to start the process of identifying the factors that influence Productivity. By analysing performance data, conducting interviews and time and motion studies at a Low Profile Room and Pillar operation a useful set of indicators has been created. The targets take into account all the inefficiencies with in the process and deliver achievable performance markers and importantly identify where the improvement focus needs to be place. Further expansion and purification to include different regions, mining methods and environments, will ensure the identification of achievable miles stones in productivity not unobtainable theory.
