Planung eines Produktionslayouts für den Herstellungsprozess thermischer Sonnenkollektoren

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

If a manufacturing company intends a relocation, one of the first and most important problems is the question concerning a new layout plan. As part of this thesis, a concept for the manufacturing process of thermal solar collectors has been developed, which ensures a fluent operating sequence on the one hand and otherwise short transport distances of input materials and products on the other hand. A description of the structure and components of different types of collectors introduces in this topic, followed by a presentation of the production process. To this description of the various workstations and the products, which are generated there, follows a material balance of all semi-finished and finished products. This balance forms the basis for the subsequent calculation of the stock of inventory. The size of the storage areas is determined by using the obtained results. The outcome of the previous fundamentals is the design of the new production layout, which is also the starting point for the final discussion of the storage and transport operations that take place. This master thesis is not used to develop a new manufacturing process for the production of thermal solar panels, but should ideally adapt existing operating sequences to new conditions. In addition, a possibility to determine the size of the stacking ground as a function of the production quantities is shown. The data, which were collected during this study, are also suitable as a background for company-specific considerations of the product range.
