N2 - The aim of the first part of this research consisted of determing the influence of temperature, acid and oxidant concentration on the extractability of Co out of a cemented carbide substrate within 30 min. To this, a DOE namely CCF served for the evaluation along with a particular specimen preparation. The core results comprised a chemical kinetic model equation inclusive response surface diagrams. Afterwards, the attained findings conduced to explore the long term leaching behavior respective a semi-direct recycling methodolgy. On the contrary to the primary examination, a pump provided continuous feeding of the oxidant to esure a constant leaching of the binder metal for several days.
