Grundlagen- und Ansatzerhebung für eine gemeinsame Emulationsumgebung zur übergreifenden Anwendung auf der Materialfluss- und Steuerungsebene

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

The aim of this work is to determine the requirements for an emulation environment that can serve two application levels for use in intralogistics. This determination forms the basis for the development of a digital twin. The creation of an emulation environment with two application levels requires the development of a data and integration concept that is used to port functions and components of existing emulation environments to a common platform. The developed concept was applied to a concrete example and its applicability was demonstrated by successfully porting existing functions and components of an emulation environment to a common emulation platform. The application of the data and integration concept to the concrete example JaamSim resulted in an emulation environment that fulfils the previously raised requirements for a common emulation environment. A good basis for the further development of a digital twin was created. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of using the emulation environment across two application levels compared to the existing emulation enviroment jSim and antSim are discussed.
