Abstract
In the last few years, FFF technologyhasgained increasing interest for AM parts manufacturing through feedstocks with high vol.% of inorganic powder.Several scientific publications are showing the feasibility of FFF to produce metal and ceramic parts. In the market, filaments for catalytic debinding based on POM as the main binder component are available. Due to the absence of scientific publications reporting the use of POM as a binder component for FFF feedstocks, own efforts were undertaken for developing a new formulation suitable for catalytic debinding. The feedstocks were compounded with different techniques and mixed with a stainless steel powder up to 55vol%. Filaments were produced from the developed feedstocks, which were further used for 3D-printing. Thereafter the parts were debound and sintered. The processability of the feedstock, process parameters and part characteristics were studied.
