Abstract
In the following thesis the behaviour of six different anode qualities was investigated in near-industrial scale cells, especially their influence on electrocrystallisation and the formation of dendrites on the cathode.
To keep the conditions of the experiment constant for every quality a new synthetic electrolyte was used and also the current density, the inhibitors, the temperature and the flow conditions were kept constant. The analysis included the composition of the anodes, the enrichment of the elements in the electrolyte and the composition of the anodic slime.
Using the interpretation of cuts of selected dendrites, the time of their origin could be recalculated. The specific experimental conditions of that moment were analysed in order to find out possible deviations from the defined experimental conditions.
