Abstract
Asphaltene precipitation is one of the main problems in some oil fields. Modelling of asphaltene is crucial for understanding asphaltene behaviour and also methods for prevention
Although, there are many thermodynamic models has been presented but most of them are not able to predict asphaltene precipitation under different thermodynamics condition such as pressure or temperature or even under EOR scenario including gas injection.
PCS-SAFT is one of the comprehensive model that consider molecular behaviour of asphaltene. In this paper this model has been assisted for modelling of asphaltene precipitation. The results show very good agreement between experimental data with Pc-SAFT model
