N2 - Climate change is associated with human activities, which contribute to global warming. In recent years, publishing sustainability reports to account for operational impacts hasbecome a trend. This can also be observed in the mining sector, which is naturally impactintensive in its operations. Significant greenhouse gas emissions stem fromenergyintensive mining and the processing. This paper makes a contribution to the fieldof public corporate discourse in relation to environmental impacts and investigates“corporate discourse and the outside world” (Jaworska 2020) using annual sustainability reports.
