N2 - Rising levels of carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere are a problem, because they lead to global warming and changes in climate that are serious threats to the environment we live in. So, getting rid of some of the carbon dioxide would be very important to combat the dangerous effects of global warming. One way to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is to turn it into chemicals like methanol. This transformation not only reduces carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, but also offers a way to store renewable forms of energy like wind or solar energy.
