N2 - The content of this report clarifies the current situation of IREDES (International Rock Excavation Data Exchange Format) and how widely it is used with Sandvik’s equipment. The general IREDES standard already covers the requirements for the basic reporting of underground machines. The report investigates different IREDES standard data sets and elements. The contents and definitions of the data set are interpreted in the report. This report covers all the different IREDES examples of Sandvik’s surface and underground drilling machines. Examples have been analysed and the understanding of different IREDES data sets are based on examples. The report proposes different guidelines for the future development of underground drills. Based on the range of interviews undertaken, the report proposes a new IREDES element.
