Vielkanalerfassungssystem für Temperaturen in Milli-Kelvin-Auflösung

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

As temperatur is very important in our everyday life, as it is in the technical sector, the measurement of temperature is also very significant. The temperature influences measuring results, the life span und characteristics of materials. With that in mind, a Multi-Channel-Acquisition-System for temperatures was planned and realised. The temperature measurement was realised with 16 Pt1000 temperature sensors, which were measured and recorded at the same time. Each measurement signal was amplified and filtered and passed on to a measuring board. This measuring board, which is produced by National Instruments, is the link between the hardware and the software Dewesoft. With this software, we are able to record up to 16 channels at the same time. The Pt1000 temperatur sensors were chosen because their resistance has a linear variation in the temperature range from 0 °C and 100 °C and as our measuring range is between 25 °C and 85 °C, they are the optimal choice. The measuring range equals a voltage range of -5 V up to +5 V. The supply voltage of the printed boards and the Pt 1000 temperature sensor is provided by the computer, which is used for the measuring software. The computer had to modifed for this. In order to reach this high level of accuracy which is needed to measure voltage in milli-Kelvin-resolution, resistors with a tolerance of 0.1 % and a cuircuit that compansates the offset voltage were used.
