Abstract

The method involves providing form information of a movable component, and modeling a target travel path as a parameterized screwing travel path (100). Parameters (P, P') of the screwing travel path are determined based on the form information. Emigration arising during a movement along the target travel path of a surface area point and/or a peripheral point of a component representing size is determined. The movable component is controlled along a guide curve i.e. guide rail, where the guide curve is set along the target travel path by selecting and moving the surface area point. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a guide rail for feeding a movable component along a guide curve (2) a method for modifying a movable component (3) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for executing a method for determining a target travel path of a movable component.
