The invention relates to a method and a system for creating borehole plans (10) for blasting installations (1a). The method comprises: the erection of at least two reference objects (2) on the top layer (1c) of a blasting installation (1a); the definition of a reference line (3) which includes the reference objects (2) on said top layer (1c), the reference line (3) being preferably a straight line, when viewed from above; the determination of measurements for the position and angle of the reference objects (2) from the base of the layer (1b); and the calculation of the position of boreholes (4-001 to 4-006) that are to be produced on the top layer using predetermined parameters, such as the lateral delimitation (1d, 1e) of the explosion area (1a), the burden (12), the lateral distance (s) between neighbouring boreholes and the borehole angle (a). The positional co-ordinates of the boreholes are defined in relation to the reference line (3).
