Abstract

New industrial applications for the residual mining and flotation minerals from the OMYA company should be found. For further process-investigations it is necesscary to calculate a mass-balance for the flotation. Trials with different collectors shows their tendency to go to the surface of the mineral. On hand of this contemplations and with additional attempts to detach the collectors from the mineral surface there can be found three processing ways (leaching, low temperature pyrolyse and combustion). Tests to the re-use of recycled collectors out of the leaching process show that detachment leads to active collectors which can be used again. Organics get from the low temperature pyrolyse seems to be a modified collector, which shows no more activity. A further chemical preparation of this arrearages can be considered. By means of combustion (of the organics) clearly mineral surface can be obtained. The use of the mining minerals together by the flotation minerals proves only meaningful for using in cement industry. For results of the investigation can be subsumed following points: saving of collectors and relief of the internal water cleaning plant (cyrcle of processing water). Use of mining minerals mixed with all purified flotation minerals could be used as raw material for cement plants.
