The main target of a sustainable economy is the increase of efficiency. The prior interest should be seen in increasing the materials efficiency which is decisive for the quality of a self sustainable development of the economy. The increase of efficiency should not only be influenced by supply management, but rather include the big area of waste management. A special part will be the utilization of substitute fuel in industrial facilities, which will become more important either for ecological and economic reasons. The utilization is linked to a range of conditions, especially concerning qualitative regards. The present report suggests a reasonable concept for quality assurance, where the main targets are to monitor substitute fuel during sampling and its preparation.
