Konstruktion einer Prüfpresse für UCS-Versuche im Computertomographen

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

Within the scope of this work, an experimental device for performing uniaxial compression tests in a computer tomograph is dimensioned, designed, manufactured, and assembled. Among other things, the test setup is to be used to investigate the fracture behaviour of concrete specimens in general as well as the influence of different reinforcement materials on its properties. In order to enable tomographic recording of the specimen even during compressive loading, attention is paid to the materials and components used in the construction of the press, as well as to achieving the highest possible stiffness of the device. The dimensioning and its optimization are based on various analyses and calculations. The framework conditions are based on existing specimens and maximum cylinder forces, as well as the maximum permissible total weight and its dimensions for use in the computer tomograph.
