Implementierung zustandsorientierter Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen in den Bereichen Schmierung & Thermografie am Beispiel der MVA Spittelau & Flötzersteig

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

This thesis makes a contribution to the implementation of condition based maintenance tasks in the waste incineration plants Spittelau and Flötzersteig of Fernwärme Wien GmbH. It focuses the areas of lubrication, diagnostics of operating fluids and diagnostics based on thermal measurement principles. Step one is theoretical basics on the fields of tribology, lubrication technology and non-contact temperature measurement. Then, step two is about the best available techniques in condition based maintenance for these application fields. The practical part in the field of lubrication consists of the optimization of maintenance activities and of economic aspects like human resources or costs for inspection activities. In the field of non-contact temperature measurement the practical part deals with the implementation of a thermographic monitoring methodology for electrical systems. It starts with the selection of the electrical equipment and goes further to questions about the type, the frequency and the organizational implementation of the monitoring methods. The conclusion also consists of economic aspects and an analysis of the legal issues in case of implementation of such a method.
