Ermittlung geohydraulischer Parameter anhand der Analyse von Probenmaterial und Auswertung geophysikalischer Bohrlochmessungen der Bohrung Markt Allhau 7

Abstract

Geohydraulic parameters are extremely important for effective ground-water resource management. The goal of this diploma thesis was to estimate the permeability of available sample material (disturbed) and geophysical data. Sample material is taken from the aquifer on the basis of geophysical borehole measurements and cuttings and is tested regarding the influence the clay content and/or the grain size have on permeability. The permeability, measured in the laboratory, correlates well with the total porosity of the geophysical borehole measurements (Gamma ray log, resistivity logs). Empirical relations for the permeability can be drawn up from this correlation. An additional condition for these empirical equations is that the equations are only applicable for aquifers (clay free) and that an additional consideration of the clay does not supply better results. Based on these empirical relations, permeability logs can be created.
