Entwicklung eines Serienfertigungskonzepts für GFK-Schlaufen mit den Anforderungen an hohe Stückzahlen in der Bauindustrie

Research output: ThesisMaster's Thesis

Abstract

This master thesis deals with series production of a glassfiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) loop. The focus concentrates mainly on economical aspects and a series production process for high volume production. The GFRP-loop is used in the building industry as concrete reinforcement. Requirements for the manufacturing process are a high static strength, high material stiffness and a good chemical durability especially against alkaline mediums. The first step is to run a technological screening in order to determine an appropriate series-production process, in this case the winding technique. For material and component tests GFRP-loops, which are produced with a close-to-production process, are needed. Therefore a prototype plant is being designed and constructed. Based on this, a concept for a series-production process is created. The development of single process steps and the visualisation of the flow of materials allow a calculation of cycle times. The limiting problem of the production-line is the curing- and cooling process, which requires about 88 % of the entire cycle time.
