Abstract
This work discusses the development of a controller for air injection for a test stand that reproduces the occurring maximum pressure and mass forces of a real motor in order to test crank drive components without the entire engine. The work consists mainly of two phases. In the first phase a simulation model was developed to simulate the thermodynamic processes inside the test stand. The aim was to be able to estimate the occuring tourque at the crankshaft in order to dimension the engine. The model was developed in Matlab / Simulink. A comparison of the calculated pressure curves with measurement results showed a very good accuracy of the simulation model. In the second phase a controller was developed to control the maximum pressure inside the working chamber. The controller was programmed in LabVIEW. Tests with a prototype showed a very good accuracy of the controller.
