Abstract

In course of this diploma thesis the thermal analysis (DSC and TMA) and the thermo-mechanical analysis (DMA) for Prepreg materials were carried out. These Investigations were done to find the dependency between the time of storage and the reaction kinetics and also to develop a calculation model, which can predict the further usage of the material. The DSC investigations were done in dynamic mode with different heating rates (10, 15 and 20°C/min). These investigations show the relationship between the melt peak P1, the additional peak p2 and the exothermic peak P3 with respect to the storage time. With continuous storage time these Peaks shift to the higher temperatures. With the help of "Modellfreie Kinetik" programm, the degree of crosslinking was predicted. The TMA investigations show that we can identify the exothermic reaction in the temperatur range between 55°C to 105°C. No change of the calcuted gel time with the storage time was determined. In this work neardy the thermal analysis, dynamic mechanical analyses were done with the help of the plate-plate viscometer under dynamic condition. The investigations show that the gel point of the halogen reduced prepreg drops after the month of december where as in halogenated prepreg it increases. The viscosity minimum of the prepreg increases with continues storage time.
